The practice development coordinator is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with the optometric network in the Fargo region. This position will formally represent Vance Thompson Vision at regional optometric events and community events. They are also responsible for facilitating visits between our doctors and the ODs in the referring network. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service and communication skills and be a self starter.
The research coordinator plays an active role in clinical research including patient testing, data collection and dissemination of study information. The coordinator will be responsible for assisting with study initiation activities, such as coordinating the delivery of study-related paperwork, equipment, demos, supplies, and participating in study-initiation meetings. They are responsible for ensuring protocol and regulatory compliance to assigned clinical study protocols. This role acts as a liaison between clinical study sponsors, patients, doctors and VTV staff members. Bachelor's degree from a four year college or university in health related or basic science program or current COA, COT or COMT certification preferred.
The surgical coordinator is responsible for scheduling refractive, laser and surgical cases. They ensure thorough patient education and financial counseling for laser, surgical and refractive procedures including consents and prior authorizations. The ideal candidate will have a strong desire to provide excellent customer service to patients and family members, be detail oriented and have the ability to be flexible and prioritize.
