The concierge position is responsible for answering incoming calls, taking messages, transferring and providing information as appropriate. The concierge is also responsible for booking, coordinating and rescheduling patient appointments. The concierge works with clinical assistants to assure accuracy of appointment schedules. The Medical Billing Specialist/Credentialing Coordinator is responsible for medical billing and physician credentialing. This position will provide support with our billing team and also provide excellent customer service to our patients. The ideal candidate will understand patient billing and insurance statements; they will have experience with processing insurance and patient payments. The medical billing specialist will follow-up on accounts that have not been processed and will answer incoming patient phone calls regarding medical billing. Experience with the credentialing process is preferred. Vance Thompson Vision is seeking an Ophthalmic Assistant for their Fargo, ND location. The ophthalmic assistant performs patient workups, preliminary tests and diagnostics in accordance with protocol. They ensure thorough patient education, facilitate efficient patient flow, medical records, coordinate surgery schedules and potential conflicts. The ophthalmic assistant and communicates with OD/MD as indicated. They triage patient phone calls, answer questions and resolve concerns as directed to achieve patient satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a strong desire to provide excellent customer service to patients and family members, be detail oriented and have the ability to be flexible and prioritize.
The Billing Specialist/Patient Advocate is responsible for verifying insurance benefits, answering patient questions, and posting patient payments. Additional duties include greeting and checking in patients, handling co-managing doctor correspondence, data entry and providing exceptional service to all clients. A minimum of two years of related experience in a medical or business environment supporting professional billing and phone services is required. The Surgical Technician is responsible for assisting in the organization and daily function of the operating room. Main duties will be assisting with sterilization and surgical procedures.
