In first grade, Christian Pratt got his first pair of glasses and the annual check-ups that come with having less-than-perfect vision. Over the years, Dr. Pratt’s optometrist noticed his interest in the field and began to encourage him to pursue a career in optometry. The rest, as they say, is history.
Before coming to Vance Thompson Vision, Dr. Pratt served patients at the Providence VA Medical Center in Rhode Island where he performed comprehensive eye exams for veterans and their families. More recently, he spent time at Mission EyeCare treating urgent care conditions and evaporative dry eye disease.

Personal & Hobbies
Dr. Pratt enjoys listening to – and playing – exceptional music. He took up the clarinet in fifth grade and hasn’t stopped playing since. Along with that, he loves to read, travel, and spend time with his loved ones: his mom and dad, three younger siblings, and partner, Liam, who is also an optometrist.
