Meet Dr. Peters

Dr. Katherine Peters started her undergraduate degree initially hoping to help others by becoming a teacher. Then, she realized she could help her community more directly as a physician, while still using her teaching skills to provide quality patient education.

Before coming to Vance Thompson Vision, Dr. Peters was one of two chief resident ophthalmologists at the Duke Eye Center, which allowed her to sharpen her skills and mentor junior residents both clinically and surgically.
