Meet Caroline Wilson

Originally from Alabama, Dr. Wilson pursued her medical degree at the University of South Alabama College of Medicine. She then completed her ophthalmology residency at the University of Iowa, where she earned the prestigious ASCRS Resident Excellence Award in recognition of her exceptional surgical skills and compassionate care.

Following her residency, Dr. Wilson completed a highly competitive surgical fellowship at Vance Thompson Vision in Sioux Falls, further refining her expertise in advanced vision correction procedures. She has been dedicated to serving the Cedar Rapids community since her fellowship, building a reputation for her patient-centered approach and surgical excellence.

Interests & Added Expertise

Dr. Wilson is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO), American Medical Association (AMA), and American Academy of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons (ASCRS). She is also a recipient of the ASCRS Resident Excellence Award.
