Dr. Jamie Nelson became curious about the eye as a young child, when she began wearing glasses to treat an eye condition. Her interest in eye care remained as she grew, leading her to a rewarding career in optometry. As an optometrist, she makes sure patients feel heard and understood throughout their care journey.
Her numerous externships have given her experience treating patients with glaucoma, macular degeneration, and retinal detachments, as well as understanding advancements in smart contact lens technology.
