Meet Dr. Rivet

Dr. Samantha Rivet’s love for making a positive impact on the world, combined with her strength and skillset in biology and medicine, has helped shape her into the dedicated optometrist she is today. She consistently earned honors throughout her graduate studies in Chicago, and her strong communication skills and ability to build meaningful relationships make patient education a central focus of her practice. She completed her residency at Vance Thompson Vision - Sioux Falls during 2024-2025 and is committed to providing the highest quality corneal, glaucoma, cataract, and refractive surgery care to the surrounding communities.

Dr. Rivet supports Dr. Terveen three days a week in our Sioux Falls office and Dr. Ferguson two days a week in South Sioux City.

Dr Rivet loves to stay active by playing soccer and volunteering at animal shelters in her community. She can also be found reading or hiking. Her favorite vacation spot is a cozy cabin off the lake in Hayward, WI, where she enjoys relaxing and spending quality time with her family.
